It had been a while since I'd last seen some of my alumni sorority sisters, probably since my own days at college. One of the sisters had reached out to me and several others to ask about doing brunch in the city, while she was visiting with her boyfriend. I always love when Kelsey is in town because it means that I'll get the chance to talk to her over some food. She was one of the first people I'd met in my sorority when I was a freshman.

I woke up on a Saturday morning (late as usual) and headed towards 14th Street Union Square. When I got off the train, I walked for a bit and navigated my way to get to Grey Dog. Upon coming in, there were so many people in a line. I pondered for a moment how many people fit in the room altogether, and if this was some sort of fire code violation.

Once I got to the table, my friends greeted me warmly and we enjoyed our food.
